Parent Responsibilities

As part of our commitment to providing the best care and educational experience for your child, we ask that parents and guardians adhere to the following responsibilities to foster a supportive, safe, and engaging learning environment. By working together, we can create a positive, nurturing space where children feel valued, encouraged, motivated, and inspired to learn and grow.

Punctuality

Parents are expected to drop off and pick up their child at the agreed-upon times. Late arrivals or pick-ups should be communicated in advance whenever possible to allow staff to plan accordingly and ensure efficiency.

Health and Medical Information

Parents must provide accurate medical information, including allergies, health conditions, and vaccinations. Keep sick children home to prevent infection spread and inform the daycare if diagnosed with a contagious illness.

Emergency Contact Information

Parents should provide and keep updated emergency contact details, including an alternate contact person who can pick up the child in case of emergency, and ensure this information is readily accessible to staff.

Appropriate Clothing and Supplies

Parents must provide appropriate clothing, including extra sets, weather-appropriate attire, and activity shoes. For infants or toddlers, parents should supply diapers, wipes, bottles, and formula as needed.

Payment and Fees

Payment of daycare fees is due according to the schedule outlined in the daycare’s policy. Parents are responsible for ensuring that payments are made on time. Any changes in payment schedules or issues with payments should be communicated promptly.

Behavior and Discipline

Parents are expected to support the daycare’s behavioral guidelines and reinforce these expectations at home. We encourage positive discipline and ask that parents help their child understand the importance of respect, cooperation, and responsibility while at daycare.

Communication

Parents should maintain open lines of communication with the daycare regarding their child’s progress, behavior, or any concerns. We ask parents to inform the daycare in advance of any changes to family routines, childcare needs, or important events that may affect the child.

Participation

Parents are encouraged to participate in special events, parent-teacher conferences, or other activities that may occur throughout the year. This involvement fosters a stronger connection between home and daycare and enhances the child
